Abstract: Agrivoltaic systems integrate solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and farming on the same land, offering a solution to the competing energy and food land needs by increasing land-use efficiency. Design choices–such as row and panel spacing–significantly impact the electricity and crop yield potentials. This work investigated how agrivoltaic design choices affect inter-row shading, influencing overall agrivoltaic system performance.
